Writing
There are two activities to work on this week.
1. Please ensure that your student Student Self Reflections have been submitted: There are two files for the student self-reflections. The first file is an editable PDF. You can type right into the document if you wish. I find it a bit awkward but it does work. If you would prefer, you can also complete this activity in any word processing app (Word, google docs, etc.) and then submit work. The second file is an example of how the activity could be be completed. A copy of this activity will be attached to you report card to be shared with your parents and another copy will be put into you permanent student file. So do a good job!
2. Write a letter imparting your words of wisdom and advice to the grade 7 students for next year. Specifically, advice to students who may be in your teachers classroom. Remember to mention salt & vinegar chips!

Numeracy
The work in Math this week has been kept to a minimum to give you more time to focus your efforts on the TED Talk you are finishing. The first activity is called What Does 2000 Calories Look Like? The second activity is a Magic Square activity. With any extra time, or if you just want to do some extra practice, work on IXL Math. I would suggest that you work on sections R, U and V.
