Reading
You should be reading your book for the Paper Bag Project. Continue your daily reading for 40 – 50 minutes a day. You will not need to complete a Reading Log for this week. You should review the project so that as you are reading you can be thinking about how you might complete the project.
I have linked the Paper Bag Project below. I have also linked a list of good novels that you could choose for this project. Please explore this list and choose an appropriate novel. Do you have to chose a novel exclusively from this list. The answer is NO. You can choose any appropriate novel. However, I do ask that the book be one of substance. For example, no Captain Underpants or Goosebumps. If you unsure if you novel is appropriate contact your teacher to check.

Writing
Work with the writing prompts below for the week. You are completing one writing assignment for the week. You can type or handwrite on lined paper; however, I would prefer it typed. If it is typed ensure that it has a proper header with your date and name.

Numeracy
There are four tasks to complete this week. The Design a Golf Course should take two days to complete. You get a choice of activities to complete on Friday. You only need to complete one of the two activities on Friday, not both.
With any extra time, or if you just want to do some extra practice, work on IXL Math. This week I would like you to concentrate your efforts on the following sections in IXL Math: Section F: Fractions and Mixed Numbers. If you have extra time you can complete work in any sections you may not have completed last week — sections B and C.

This week some Daily Physical Activities (DPA) have been included. Download the calendar of DPA activities that you can try this week. There are no reflections on anything else to complete. Just try to do the activities and get some exercise and hopefully have some fun too!
