Virtual Field Trip — For Thursday
There is a fun activity planned for you on Thursday this week. It is a virtual field trip. The activity is called — A Ticket to Ride. You are asked to download the file below and visit the links on the page. There are links to a variety of amusement park rides on the page. Visit the links and experience the variety of the rides. Do not miss the video for the amusement park at Cedar Point, Ohio. It is considered by many to have the greatest collection of roller coasters in the world. Top Thrill Dragster found at 25:15 is a short ride but it is insane! Do not miss it!
The only work we ask you to do on Thursday is to visit as many of the rides as you can and then complete the survey linked on the page. Have Fun.

Reading
You should continue reading your book for the Paper Bag Project. Continue your daily reading for 40 – 50 minutes a day. You will not need to complete a Reading Log for this week. You should continue referring to the project criteria as you are reading so you can be thinking about how you might complete the project.
I have linked the Paper Bag Project below. You should already have chosen and be reading the novel for this project.
I have left the linked a list of good novels that you could choose for this project. Please explore this list and choose an appropriate novel. Do you have to chose a novel exclusively from this list. The answer is NO. You can choose any appropriate novel. However, I do ask that the book be one of substance. For example, no Captain Underpants or Goosebumps. If you unsure if you novel is appropriate contact your teacher to check.

Numeracy
There are three tasks to complete this week. Complete the Chessboard Activity on Monday. Complete the Magic Squares and Crossword Activity on Tuesday. You get a choice of WODB Activities to complete on Wednesday. You only need to complete one of the two activities on Wednesday, not both.
With any extra time, or if you just want to do some extra practice, work on IXL Math. This week I would like you to concentrate your efforts on on finishing work on sections B, C & F. If you have extra time you can complete work in any other sections you wish.
